On April 20–22, 2026, the Medical Skills Olympiad was held at I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, with 16 teams participating.
The program included theoretical and practical stages: team video presentations, a blitz quiz, the interactive contest “4 Pictures — 1 Word,” and solving situational tasks.
Participants also became familiar with practical stations at the simulation center.
BMMI was represented by a student team consisting of Gungun Jain, Abu Sufian, Hardik Choudhary, Faraz Khan, Vishwakarma Kapindra, Khan Suzen, Anita, Nezy Jain, Deepak Sharma, and Gokanakonda Gnanasri.
The team participated under the guidance of mentors Amira kyzy Meerim, Ekaterina Yun, and Elnura Uraimova.
As a result of the olympiad, the BMMI team took 6th place. Participation contributed to the development of students’ professional competencies and strengthened interuniversity cooperation.
