As part of extracurricular activities, BMMI runs a Chess Club aimed at developing students’ intellectual abilities, logical and strategic thinking.

Club objectives
Develop logical, critical, and strategic thinking
Build concentration, situational analysis, and decision-making skills
Teach the basics of chess, tactics, and strategy
Develop the ability to plan several moves ahead
Foster discipline, patience, and responsibility
Promote fair play and respect for opponents

Studying the rules and basics of chess
Learning chess pieces, moves, openings, middlegame, and endgame
Analyzing chess games, combinations, and common mistakes
Conducting training games and practical sessions
Organizing internal tournaments and friendly competitions
Preparing students for participation in chess tournaments
Developing competitive skills and confidence
Participating in intellectual contests and chess events
Chess Tournament at BMMI
From April 8 to 9, 2026, BMMI hosted a chess tournament that brought together students passionate about the intellectual game.











International Chess Tournament at the Embassy of Pakistan
On April 10, 2026, BMMI students participated in an international chess tournament organized at the Embassy of Pakistan.
