On April 7, 2025, Bishkek International Medical Institute held a charity event at the municipal social residential institution for elderly people and persons with disabilities in Bishkek, UMUT UIU, dedicated to World Health Day.
As part of the event, faculty members and students of the institute provided medical assistance to elderly people and persons with disabilities living in the institution.
During the event, electrocardiographic examinations, blood glucose testing, blood pressure measurements, and consultations with general practitioners were carried out.
The purpose of the event was not only to provide medical assistance, but also to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the health of elderly people and strengthening ties between younger and older generations.
BMMI Rector Alfiya Samigullina noted: “We consider it our duty to support those who need help and care. This event is our contribution to improving the health and quality of life of elderly people.”
BMMI plans to continue holding similar events aimed at supporting socially vulnerable groups.
